Rotate or flip an image

Rotate in 90° steps, flip horizontally or vertically, or both — combine freely.

Questions

Does this fix a sideways image automatically?

Images with EXIF orientation data are already normalised upright as part of every Image KB Reducer tool's pipeline — this tool is for rotations and flips you choose deliberately.

Does rotating lose quality?

For a JPG, yes — a little. Rotating in a browser means decoding the image and encoding it again, and a JPG re-encode always adds a second round of compression loss even when no pixel was meant to change. Image KB Reducer re-encodes at quality 92 to keep that as small as possible and says so on the result rather than hiding it. PNG and WebP-lossless sources are unaffected.

Which way does 'rotate right' turn a flipped image?

Clockwise, always — the way it looks on screen. Mirroring an image reverses the direction of every rotation applied after it, so Image KB Reducer compensates internally instead of making you think in reverse.
